Amy Hale Milliken
Ms. Milliken began her prosecutorial career as an Assistant County Attorney immediately upon being admitted to the Bar in 1996. She was the first female to be elected as Warren County Attorney, and has held the office since 2004.
Though Ms. Milliken has made remarkable progress in the prosecutorial management of several different issues, she has set a high bar with regard to her involvement in the Warren County Family Court. She is tasked with collecting child-support for over 6,000 Warren County children, with total collections of over $9.5 million in 2014.
Her distinguished performance while in office has led to her receipt of numerous awards and honors. She was the 2009 Kentucky County Attorney of the Year, the 2013 William H. Natcher Award recipient, the 2014 Gwyneth Davis Award winner, and the 2008 Athena Award recipient. Notably, Ms. Milliken has also been sworn in to present cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
She currently serves as the President of the Kentucky County Attorneys’ Association, and has served on the Executive Board for many years. She is also a member of the Executive Boards of Directors of the Western Kentucky University Alumni Association, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a Director of Citizens First Bank.
Milliken is a life-long Warren County resident. She attended Warren East High School and Western Kentucky University. Milliken received her J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1995.
